QCPR Report Server
The QCPR Report Server is optional software installed on a server separate from the QCPR Production System servers.
The Report Server supports SQL queries for reports, data extracts, etc. which if complex and run on the Production System might result in a negative impact on end-user performance on the Production System.
The Report Server uses Caché Shadow technology to maintain a near real-time copy of the Production System database. Typically data in Report Server database will lag data in the Production System database by not more than a few seconds. The lag could be greater if the service level for the customer network that connects the Report Server with the Production System is not sufficiently fast or reliable.
